An Important Reminder to All our Valued OFWs: Stay Protected from Online Payment Scams

At 123 Finance Group, your safety and peace of mind are our top priority.

Recently, we have received reports of fraudulent individuals impersonating our official Facebook page. These scammers are using the following tactics:

⚫ Sending friend requests to our clients while posing as 123 Finance (the same profile name but never the link)

⚫ Commenting on your public posts telling you to message them on WhatsApp.

⚫ Once contacted, they pressure or harass clients into sending loan payments through personal GCash numbers or Express Send, which is NOT authorized by 123 Finance.

🚫 Reminder: We Will Never Ask for Payment via Personal GCash Accounts
Please be reminded that we will never ask you to repay your  OFW LOAN through any personal GCash account or  via EXPRESS SEND.

If someone messages you and instructs you to send payments to their individual GCash number, STOP! That is a scammer. Do not proceed with the payment

How to Pay Safely via GCash Bills Payment

To ensure your payments are properly recorded and credited to your account, please follow these official steps when paying via Gcash Bills Payment Facility
 

STEP 1: Open Gcash App and go to BILLS.

STEP 2: Tap the LOANS icon.

STEP 3: Click 123 FINANCE CORPORATION

STEP 4: Fill-in the form as in the example:

• Client Code: Enter your Loan Code with format 123Finance + [2–3 LETTERS] + [dash “-”] + [5–15 NUMBERS] (Example: 123FinanceOW-12345)
• Name: Enter the full name of the OFW client.
• Mobile Number: Provide the mobile number used for the GCash Payment.
• Email Address: Use your registered email address with us.

 If You Have Already Engaged with These Scammers:

1. Stop all communication immediately.

2. Do NOT send any money, even if they claim it’s urgent or “for verification.”

3. Take screenshots of all messages or transactions as evidence.

4. Report the fake profile to Facebook using the "Report" button.
